Claudette Grant, has over 35 years of sewing experience specializing in figure variations and fitting challenges. A professional patternmaker, in 2002, she was commissioned to do a Real life dress from a BARBIE DOLL picture, a wedding dress with a side train. One catch, the client lived in Hawaii. It was not a problem because of PACC (The Professional Association of Custom Clothiers), of which she has been a member since 1999.

Claudette graduated from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in December of '93 with a degree in Fashion Design.

Frustrated by her search for a dress for her own wedding in 1993, Claudette designed her own and the idea of CGs Couture was born. Realizing that many women shared her difficulty, getting the correct fit if you're not a perfect size, Claudette launched CGs Couture Designs in 1996. As her reputation grows, so does her clientele.

Claudette hopes to launch a line, COUTURE PLUS, later this year. This is a natural progression to CG's Couture Designs. Market research has shown that at least 68% of women in the US wear a size 14 or larger. And what do women want? Women want fit! We want clothing that fits our SHAPES, our LIFESTYLES, our PERSONALITIES but most of all our BODIES.

This should be available in unique sizes by September. Watch for it.
